This section applies to decision-makers in designated public sector organizations or in businesses and organizations with more than 20 employees.

Depending on the size of your organization, you may be required to keep certain documents and make them available to the public.

Is your organization a designated public sector organization or other provider with 20 or more employees?

If you do have 20 or more employees, there are five types of documents on serving customers with disabilities you must have under the standard.

You must let your customers know that they can ask for these documents. It doesn't matter how you inform customers about their availability as long as the method is reasonable in the circumstances. You can use your website, pre-recorded voice mail announcements, signs or even a brochure.
